Incorporated in 1914, Standard Iron Works has been owned and operated by four generations of the Dennebaum family. It was one of the first fabricators to offer a complete package of fabricated and erected Structural Steel, Steel Joist, Metal Deck, and Miscellaneous Iron. The 65,000 square foot manufacturing facility and 10,000 square foot office building utilize the most modern-day equipment from a computer operated beam punch line to high-speed plotting and reproduction machines.
Standard Iron Works’ engineering department utilizes Tekla software, which is a 3D detailing system, to insure accurate details on every project. Our accounting department uses award winning Sage 300 construction software. We use Procore construction management software to communicate and share information with our clients. Also, our shop consists of fully automated CNC machinery.
Standard Iron Works has been an American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) certified fabricator since December of 1996. We take pride in providing on time quality structural steel and miscellaneous iron.
Currently, there is one registered civil engineer and one civil engineer graduate employed who oversee the engineering, detailing, estimating and operations. Most of their employees have over 10 years of experience in their field providing an experienced work force for both the office and shop.
Standard Iron Works has serviced the tristate area for over 100 years and they have completed all types of project range from small house beams to 300,000 SF schools.
