About Standard Iron Works

Incorporated in 1914, Standard Iron Works has been owned and operated by four generations of the Dennebaum family. It was one of the first fabricators to offer a complete package of fabricated and erected Structural Steel, Steel Joist, Metal Deck, and Miscellaneous Iron. The 65,000 square foot manufacturing facility and 10,000 square foot office building utilize the most modern day equipment from a computer operated beam punch line to high-speed plotting and reproduction machines.

Standard Iron Works’ engineering department utilizes SteelCAD software, which is a sophisticated detailing package, to insure accurate details on every project.

Standard Iron Works has been an A.I.S.C. certified fabricator since December of 1996 with a certification in Simple and Complex Structures. Numerous other certifications including the New Jersey School Construction Corporation and Penn State University, which allows them to service many different areas and organizations.

Currently, there are two full time registered civil engineers and one recent civil engineer graduate employed who oversee the engineering, estimating, and detailing. A majority of the employees have been employed steadily for over 10 years providing an experienced work force in both the office and shop, especially in Miscellaneous Iron stairs and railings.
